I grew up in California and Oregon. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Eastern Oregon University – both in Elementary Education. I taught 2 years in Oregon then moved to Phoenix to teacher. I met my now-husband Blake in AZ. We moved to Charlotte in 2019 and happily call this city home with our 2 dogs, Ragnar and Ellie. I joined TTWS in 2021. I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

With a background in music and the performing arts, I have taught music, voice, and violin to school age children throughout my career. After graduation from Florida State University’s School of Music, I spent two years in the Nashville music scene before living and working in NYC for nearly 15 years. In 2022, after being a TTWS parent, I was excited to join the teaching team!

I grew up in Atlanta and have a degree in Education from the University of Georgia. After living in the northeast for over 20 years, I now call Charlotte home. I have been a part of TTWS since 2014. I enjoy painting and spending time with my family.

I was born in Massachusetts, lived in Atlanta until I was 10 and then moved to Charlotte. I graduated from Myers Park High School and Winthrop University, where I earned a BA in Art and a minor in Art History with a concentration in photography. In 2002, when my son was a toddler, I started working at the Cornwell Center and then in 2004 I started teaching at TTWS. I love working with such skilled teachers and staff and I love preparing our wonderful children for a successful future in school!

I grew up in Ohio and graduated with a BA in Education from Bowling Green State University. After several years in Atlanta, I moved to Charlotte. When my two sons were young, I realized that my passion was Early Childhood Education. I have been in the profession for over 25 years and every day is a delight. I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family, traveling, and going to the movies!

Originally from Michigan, I graduated from Clemson in therapeutic recreation and got my special education teaching degree from Sacred Heart.
After marrying, I moved to Saudi Arabia for two years, but I call Charlotte home! I have taught Special Ed or preschool my entire career and have been at TTWS since 2004.
I like to sew, travel, garden, walk and spend time with my family and grandchildren.

I grew up in Asheville and moved to Charlotte in 1993. I have a degree in Elementary Education but years ago I fell in love with the preschool ages. I have taught at 2s and now toddlers at TTWS since 2008. The first years of school are so important and special for little ones! I enjoy gardening (especially camellias), cooking, spending time with my 2 adult sons, and spending time in Europe every year.

I am a Charlotte native and graduate of Myers Park High School. I went to Greensboro College to play tennis (and to study of course!!) and earned a degree in Sociology and Psychology. I worked with preschool age children for several years before starting my family. I took off 20 years to be with my three children and loved every minute!! Now that they are older, I wanted to go back to doing something that I loved and felt was so important; teaching preschool!! I began teaching at TTWS in 2018. I enjoy working out and being with my family and friends.

I was born and raised in Charlotte. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching elementary school for six years, I dedicated my life to staying home to raise my twin girls. I joined TTWS in 2022. I love traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.

I have been married to my husband for 47 years. I am the mother to 3 amazing adults and “Grammy” to 7 precious grandchildren. When I was 16, I began teaching dance and gymnastics and I realized I always wanted to work with children. In 1976, my husband and I started Bay Valley Dance & Gymnastics in Bay City, Michigan (it is still being run by family). We moved to Charlotte in 2020. My hobby is my family. I enjoy working at TTWS for its mission statement, “we play to learn”. As a teacher I feel kids have a lot to teach us as we do them.

I was born in Michigan but grew up all over the Midwest as well as DC and California. I have degrees from St. Louis University in Nursing and Psychology and PNP from Washington University. I was a PNP at Eastover Pediatrics for 22 years and retired to help with grandchildren. I love being with the 2s at TTWS and I love to run, bike, and read.

Originally from Morganton, NC, I graduated from Appalachian State with a Masters in K-5 Education. After marrying, we moved to Charlotte and are raising our four beautiful children. I have taught Pre-K, 1st,2nd, 4th grades and TK. Our family loves to travel and support our favorite college team UNC Tarheels!

I grew up in Charlotte and attended Myers Park High School. I graduated from UNC with a Business major and spent the next 14 years with Wachovia Bank in a variety of Corporate Banking jobs. While working for Wachovia, I lived in Winston-Salem, Charlotte, and Chicago. I “retired” from banking when my first daughter was born and spent the next 20 years raising our three girls and volunteering at their schools, at church, and in the community. I also worked as a substitute preschool teacher and as a CMS sub. Now that our two oldest daughters are in college and the youngest is at AG Middle School, I am ready to focus on what my journey showed me I loved: working with children in God’s home and supporting the amazing teachers who care for them and nurture them every day.
In my spare time, I love to be with my family and friends, exercise, read and travel.

I grew up in upstate New York and went to Cornell University. My husband and I moved to Charlotte in 1989. I raised three children down the street from Myers Park Baptist and two of my children attended Through the Week School. I began working at TTWS in the Toddler/Two Classroom in 2018. Working with children is an honor. I am proud to be a stepping stone in the children's learning process.

I am a native Charlottean. I graduated from UNC with a BSN and Masters in Nursing. I recently retired from 41 years as a Nurse Practitioner in pediatrics and joined TTWS in 2021. I enjoy being outdoors and exercise (running, bike trips, gardening), reading, and being around children. I especially enjoy visiting my 2 daughters and their families in the Raleigh area. (GO TARHEELS!)

I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, lived in Connecticut then moved to Charlotte as a child and have been here ever since. After having my own children, I chose to go into the Early Childhood Education field and have happily worked (and played) with preschoolers as a teacher, director, and curriculum developer for the past 30+ years! I have worked at TTWS since 2004. My passions are good food, good films, good friends, and the arts.

Although not born here, I have lived in Charlotte on and off since I was 4. I attended College of Charleston/NC State and moved to Spain to teach English after graduating. After moving back to the US, I married my high school sweetheart. I went back to school to become a nurse and have worked as an ICU then surgical nurse for over 8 years.
I’m a mom to three busy boys and was a TTWS parent for over 4 years. I love this sweet preschool so much that I started teaching in 2019.
When I’m not busy teaching or working as a nurse I love spending time with my boys and our lab, Sammy. I love to paint, travel, watch movies, read, be outdoors, play any and all sports, and bake sweet treats. My favorite place in the world is Charleston so I’m always visiting or daydreaming about Sullivan’s Island.

I am originally from Upstate New York and attended Villanova University where I earned a BS in Marketing. After graduating I spent ten years working in Financial Services in Philadelphia and London before moving to Charlotte in 2013. I have two elementary age children who both attended TTWS. I joined the TTWS staff in 2022. I enjoy working out, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I am a Charlotte native (with a few stents living elsewhere)! My husband and I have 3 crazy and fun daughters, all who attend(ed) TTWS. I am an occupational therapist by trade with experience with adults and pediatrics. I began substituting at TTWS in 2019. I enjoy being part of the staff and spending time with all the great families who attend the school. In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, exercising, reading, and being outside with my family.

I grew up in Charlotte. Born and raised! I have been lucky to teach at The Myers Park Baptist Through-the-Week-School since 2005, but I have been teaching for over 20 years. I'm an outdoor girl...fishing, camping, gardening and grilling out, so I take recess pretty seriously!

I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, and moved to Charlotte after graduating from Appalachian State University. I have spent most of my adult life working with children and was delighted to join the staff at TTWS in 2014. I look forward to opportunities to entertain friends and family—cooking is my favorite pastime. I also enjoy traveling, exercise, and time with my two energetic dogs.

I am a Charlotte native and have been teaching at TTWS for over 20 years. Prior to TTWS I taught in a full-day threes class in the community. I have taught Threes, Fours, and TK at TTWS. I am honored to be a part of the Through-the-Week-School team and to get to know so many wonderful families over the years. I enjoy family time, riding bikes, hiking, swimming, camping, trips to the mountains and trips to the family beach house.

I grew up in a little town called Maxton, NC and graduated from Queens College in 1988 where I earned at BA in Museology (Museum Studies). I lived in Nantucket for a year after college and moved back to Charlotte in 1990. I taught in a Montessori school for 16 years and then joined the TTWS staff in 2010. I am married to a Charlotte native and our daughter attended TTWS! I enjoy photography, playing pickleball, going to the beach, listening to music, and being with friends and family.

I was born and raised in Charlotte, a graduate of the TTWS! I graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in Marketing and worked at Ivey’s in the buying department until I went back to school for an elementary education degree at UNCC. I continued with a masters degree in Reading.
I worked in CMS for 9 years then stayed home for 10 years with my 2 boys, Alex and Nicholas. I had the opportunity to return to teaching at TTWS in 2012.

I am a Charlotte native and attended East Carolina University earning a degree in Childhood Development. I lived in Atlanta for over 25 years and ran a small business in healthcare. I was lucky to move back to Charlotte in 2018 and even luckier to get hired at TTWS that same year! I have loved being back in Charlotte with family and friends.

I was born and raised in Iowa. I attended the University of Northern Iowa moved to Charlotte in 1992 to pursue a career in food sales. My career led me to my husband, and we have two incredible daughters. I followed my passion for children and began teaching at TTWS in 2005. I love our learning through play philosophy and love being with children. I am excited to come to work every day! When I am not having fun with the children at TTWS, I enjoy exercising, working in my yard, walking my dog, and watching sports.

I grew up in Charlotte and am a proud graduate of the Myers Park Baptist Through-the-Week-School myself!! I attended Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Virginia. After graduation I held three jobs: hostess at the Town House, camera woman at WSOC-TV and worked at Belk’s department store in the China, Crystal and Silver departments. Eventually, I traveled up and down the east coast selling china, crystal and silver. After my first child Gray was born, I quit work to be at home with him. Two years later we had Kate and my hands were full! I started working at TTWS in 2007 and have loved working with children and seeing the wonders of the world through their eyes.

I grew up in a small town in Upstate NY, and moved to Charlotte in 1995 after college. I received my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2001 from the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!). I enjoy serving the early childhood population, and I have loved my time with little friends at TTWS since 2016. I love spending time with my friends and family, traveling with my husband and two children, and a good cup of coffee!

I grew up in Charlotte and have lived here…well, let’s just say a long time! Prior to teaching at TTWS my career had been working in the insurance industry and being a mommy. I came to TTWS when my daughter started preschool here in 1985. My hobbies are gardening and reading. My passion is my work…to nurture children in a manner reflecting God’s love for them.

I'm from Chappaqua, NY, 35 miles north of New York City in Westchester County. I met my husband in high school and we have been married 35 years. We have lived in Charlotte for 27 years. We have two grown sons, one in Charlotte and one in Atlanta. My first year at TTWS was 2016 and I have loved it! 20 years ago I taught in a 2 year old class for several years, and I didn't realize how much I had missed it! I enjoy gardening, baking, traveling, reading, and working out at the gym.

Originally from Baltimore, I grew up in Delaware, lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Delaware with a BSED. After college I relocated to Charlotte where I have lived for 40 years. I taught middle school in CMS for 10 years then took time off to raise my two children. I love my toddlers at TTWS as well as the wonderful parents and staff.

I grew up in Charlotte, not saying how many years. I received a BA in early childhood education from UNCC. I’ve been at TTWS since 1989! Love to travel, eat good food, drink good wine, girlfriend getaways, being with family and smooching on my sweet grand babies.
